About

Lal Kitab

Lal Kitab (translated as "Red Book") is a famous collection of Vedic astrology and palmistry principles. Written originally in Urdu, it is known for its simple and practical remedies for astrological challenges. It became popular in India and other parts of the world for its unique approach to analyzing horoscopes and its predictive techniques, which differ significantly from traditional Vedic astrology.
Lal Kitab is attributed to Pt. Roop Chand Joshi, an astrologer and spiritualist, and the first set of these texts was published between 1939 and 1952. The texts are divided into five volumes, collectively forming the Lal Kitab corpus.
